How about Miss USSR UK. Here is the winner of Miss USSR UK (I don't recall what country she's from). Contestants are from 15 former USSR countries and the pageant is held in London. So 15 contestants from far eastern Europe represent their country in a far western European country for a title which has 'USSR' in, which fell in 1992 and represents a dark period of oppression in their respective countries history.

P.S. The contestant on the right was asked a pageant question. "How do you feel about disabled people?", her reply was "children are more important as they are our future". She got boo'd quite badly for that. Lol. She later tried to clarify to camera that she was 100% right as "children are our future and disabled have no future". Seriously love, take your foot out of your mouth and don't breed, let your stupidity die with you.

Now, if the Poles used this weapon of mass distraction back in '39, the Germans would have stopped dead in their tracks.

Damn internet. Here I thought Miss Poland looked like:

It's interesting though — she said that and I have less feelings of hate for her than I thought I would. I have to attribute that to the fact that she's beautiful. If an average looking person said something like that I would probably be horribly offended and upset. Just an interesting little thing that I noticed when I read your comment. I suppose the same applies to beautiful cars. We can get over small flaws and stupid engineering when the car is gorgeous, but when a car is simply average looking we pick up on everything and we're merciless in our reviews.

I suppose to an extent, but being beautiful is no excuse or trade in for being stupid. The one on the right (who said that stupid comment) looks quite good there, but other camera footage looks very much not so much. Though maybe I'm saying that because of her comment (which she's entitled too of course). There was some really stunning women and one or two not so stunning (ahem Miss Kazakhstan). The winner (blonde woman) is a single mother wanting a modeling career to earn money to raise her child, now what ever career it is the fact that she's trying her best with what she has to raise her child, thats more beautiful than any looks.

Oh I agree completely, don't get me wrong. Her comments were wrong and she should care more for her fellow humans; I was simply posing the interesting point that beauty will encourage us to look past some otherwise important flaws if the beauty wasn't as apparent.
The important thing is: that woman needs to improve her views.

I agree. Looks can have an effect on overcoming someones views, just as much as someones views can have an effect on someones looks.

As James Bond would say.. That's Detente.
And I think he would approve of Miss Poland, even if she were in russia, and would steal the german car and drive away with her.
